Types of Plasterboard Available:
1. Standard Plasterboard
Ideal for general interior use on walls and ceilings. Lightweight, easy to cut and install.
2. Moisture-Resistant Plasterboard
Also known as water-resistant or wet area board. Perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, and other humid environments.
3. Fire-Resistant Plasterboard
Designed to slow the spread of fire. Contains fire-retardant additives like glass fibre.
4. Acoustic Plasterboard
Denser core for superior sound insulation. Great for bedrooms, media rooms, and shared walls.
5. Impact-Resistant Plasterboard
Tougher surface to handle knocks and bumps. Ideal for schools, commercial spaces, and high-traffic areas.
6. Thermal/Insulating Plasterboard
Combines a plasterboard face with a thermal insulation layer. Helps improve energy efficiency.
7. Vapour-Resistant Plasterboard
Incorporates a foil or metallic backing to prevent moisture penetration. Suitable for controlled environments or where vapour barriers are needed.

Edge Types:
- Tapered edge – for seamless jointing and finishing
